GPPi and CTR publish action paper on transatlantic cooperation in humanitarian assistance
GPPi and its partner organization the Center for Transatlantic Cooperation at Johns Hopkins University (CTR) have published an action paper entitled, "Improving Humanitarian Assistance: A Transatlantic Agenda for Action".
The action paper summarizes the main findings from the "Raising the Bar" project. It contains a transatlantic agenda for action outlining how the EU and the US could enhance their relationship to improve humanitarian assistance. The recommendations will be presented at a conference organized by the European Commission in Brussels in November 2009 and will serve as an input to the upcoming EU-US summit in 2010.
